FAQ
Frequently asked questions – AR-15 Accessories
Are the accessories compatible with any AR-15?
Our accessories are made for the Mil-Spec AR-15 platform. Even so, check the specifications: for example, Mil-Spec and “commercial” buffer tubes have different diameters, and stocks must be chosen to match the type of tube.
Do I need a licence to buy AR-15 accessories?
Handguards, pistol grips, stocks and buffer tubes are not essential components of the firearm. Essential components (receiver, barrel, bolt) are subject to the same rules as the firearm itself. We can confirm the legal status of any product on request.
What is the M-LOK system?
M-LOK is an open mounting standard developed by Magpul: the handguard has slots into which accessories such as torches, foregrips or short Picatinny rail sections mount directly, with no need for a full-length rail.
