Cookie Policy
Which cookies and browser-stored data we use, why, and how to give or withdraw your consent to statistics.
This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails.
This policy explains how our website uses cookies and similar technologies (for example the browser’s local storage), in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC (the “ePrivacy Directive”), Romanian Law no. 506/2004 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), work in a similar way. They may be strictly necessary (the website does not work without them) or used for statistics, in which case they may be set only with your prior consent.
What we use
Strictly necessary – these work without consent, because they are essential for a service you have explicitly requested (Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, Art. 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004):
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ra-cart | Local storage, first-party | Keeps the products added to the basket for the quote request | Until you empty the basket, send the request or clear the site data |
| ra-consent | Local storage, first-party | Remembers your cookie choice so that we do not ask you on every page | 12 months, after which we ask you again; sooner if you change it or clear the site data |
| ra_session | Cookie, first-party (administrators only) | Maintains the login session in the administration panel (secure, inaccessible to scripts) | 7 days |
Statistics (PostHog) – only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Until then, the PostHog script is not even loaded. We use them to see which pages are visited and how the website is used, in order to improve it. We do not use them for advertising and we do not sell the data.
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ph_<key>_posthog | Cookie and local storage | PostHog (processor) | Random browser identifier, used to count visits and pages visited | 1 year |
| ph_*, __ph_* | Local / session storage | PostHog | Technical data needed for the statistics to work (for example the current session) | Duration of the session or until consent is withdrawn |
The provider is PostHog Inc. (USA), and the statistics data is stored on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We do not record browsing sessions and we do not use the data to identify you. Details of the processing can be found in the Privacy Policy.
How to give or withdraw your consent
On your first visit we display a banner in which you can choose “Accept”, “Reject” or “Settings”, with equal ease. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop the statistics and delete the PostHog cookies from your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or ad networks. Fonts are hosted on our own server, and the map opens only when you click the “Open in Google Maps” link.
External websites
Links to other websites (Google Maps, social networks, ANPC, manufacturers) take you to pages that have their own cookie policies, which apply only once you access them.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can view and delete cookies and data stored by websites at any time in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge – “Privacy” section). If you block local storage, the basket is emptied when you close the page, but you can always send a quote request from the contact page.
Changes
If we use other optional cookies, we will add them to this policy and to the banner and ask for your consent again.
