Frequently asked questions – Collector's Firearms

Do I need a licence to buy a collector’s firearm?

In most cases, yes. Functional collector’s firearms are subject to authorisation under Law no. 295/2004, usually on the basis of a collector’s licence. Some antique firearms, replicas or deactivated firearms may fall under a different regime, so we confirm the legal status of each firearm before purchase.

How do I know what condition a collector’s firearm is in?

Every product has real photographs and a description covering the model, calibre and its particular features. For details on condition, markings, serial numbers or history, you can write to us or view the firearm in our showroom in București.

What warranty does a second-hand collector’s firearm come with?

For second-hand and collector’s items sold to consumers, we agree in writing a legal guarantee of conformity of at least 1 year, stated in the sales documents. Details are in our Returns and Warranty Policy.

What types of collector’s firearms do you have?

Historic pistols (FN Browning, Steyr, Beretta, Tokarev, Parabellum), classic revolvers (Colt Python, Colt SAA, Smith & Wesson), military rifles (Mauser K98, Mosin Nagant, SKS) and prestige hunting guns. The catalogue is updated as new pieces come in.
