This document sets out the terms and conditions of use of the website, as well as the conditions under which users may access the information, products and services presented on the site. Use of the website implies acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may update this document when the legislation or our services change. The version in force is the one published on the website, with the date of the last update shown at the end. Changes do not affect contracts already concluded.

Purpose of the website

The website is intended to provide information and to present the company, products and services of ROLAND ARMS. Products cannot be ordered or paid for online. The information presented is for guidance only and does not constitute a firm offer, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The basket and quote requests

You can add products to the basket in order to send us a single quote request. A quote request is not an order, involves no payment and does not oblige us to sell. After receiving your request, we will inform you of availability, the final price and the documents required. The sale is concluded only once the offer has been accepted by both parties and the documents required by law have been verified. The prices and total shown in the basket are list prices, for information only.

Conditions of access and use

The user undertakes:

• to use the website for lawful purposes only;
• not to carry out activities that may affect the operation, security or integrity of the website;
• not to use the information available on the site for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to public order;
• to provide true and complete information when filling in contact forms or quote requests.

Regulated products

Some products presented on the website are subject to special regulations under Romanian and European legislation on the regime of weapons and ammunition, in particular Law no. 295/2004.

Firearms, ammunition and other regulated products may be purchased only by persons holding the authorisations, licences and documents required by the legislation in force. The publication of products on the website does not guarantee any person’s right to purchase them. We reserve the right to request additional documents and to refuse any transaction that does not comply with the legal framework.

Buyer eligibility and document verification

For products that require authorisation, the buyer is obliged to present the documents required by law, including, as applicable:

• an identity document;
• a valid firearms licence;
• a purchase authorisation;
• documents certifying status as a hunter, sport shooter or collector;
• other documents required by the competent authorities.

Providing false, incomplete or expired information or documents will result in the cancellation of the transaction and may be reported to the competent authorities. Products whose purchase is restricted by law may not be bought by persons who have not reached the minimum age required by law.

Handover of firearms and ammunition

Firearms and ammunition are handed over only in compliance with the procedures laid down by the legislation in force: at our authorised premises or, where the law permits, through authorised carriers. Handover takes place only after all the necessary checks have been completed.

Product availability and prices

The display of a product on the website does not guarantee its availability. Confirmation of a sale depends on stock availability and on validation of the buyer’s documents. The prices displayed are those valid on the date of publication and are confirmed when the sale is concluded; for products marked “Price on request”, the price is provided on request.

Returns, withdrawal and warranty

The rights of withdrawal from the contract, the return conditions and the legal guarantee of conformity are described in the Returns Policy.

Accuracy of information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information published is accurate and up to date. Nevertheless, there may be typographical errors, colour differences in photographs or incomplete technical specifications. Please check important details with us before purchase.

Intellectual property

The content of the website (texts, images, logos, graphic elements, video materials, technical descriptions) is the property of ROLAND ARMS or its partners and is protected by copyright legislation. Copying, reproducing or using the content without our written consent is prohibited.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• temporary interruptions in the operation of the website;
• technical errors beyond our control;
• improper use of the information published on the website;
• the content of third-party websites to which links are provided.

These limitations do not affect the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Protection of personal data

Commercial communications

We do not send commercial communications without your prior and express consent. If you subscribe to such communications in future, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.

Compliance with the law by the buyer

The buyer is responsible for complying with the legal obligations regarding the possession, transport, use, storage and transfer of the firearms and ammunition purchased.

Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations caused by force majeure events, under the conditions provided by law.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

This document is governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will first be settled amicably. Consumers may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or an alternative dispute resolution entity (ADR (SAL)). Failing a solution, disputes will be settled by the competent courts in Romania.
