SMITH & WESSON 18 Cal .22LR

The Smith & Wesson Model 18 is one of the most highly regarded American revolvers in .357 Magnum calibre and is considered a classic service arm of the second half of the 20th century. The model was conceived on the recommendations of the famous shooter and US Border Patrol officer Bill Jordan, who wanted the power of the .357 Magnum cartridge in a revolver more compact and lighter than the models built on the large N-Frame. The result was the .357 Combat Magnum revolver, built on the medium K-Frame. The revolver has a single-action/double-action mechanism, a six-round cylinder and adjustable sights. It was made mainly with a blued or nickel finish and with 2.5, 4 and 6 inch barrels. Its stainless-steel variant is the well-known Smith & Wesson Model 66
