TTC CUGIR (TT33 CUGIR) Cal. 7,62x25mm Tokarev

TTC / Tokarev Cugir pistol made at Uzina Mecanică Cugir (Cugir Mechanical Works), the Romanian copy of the famous Soviet TT-33, in 7.62×25 mm Tokarev calibre. The “1955″ marking and the typical Romanian prefix
confirm early production from the communist era. After WWII, Romania adopted the Soviet TT-33 design and began local production at Cugir. The Romanian TTC was the standard pistol of the army and the Securitate and remained in service for many decades.
It is one of the most robust and well-made Eastern European variants of the Tokarev 33. Romania produced TTCs mainly between the 1950s and 1960s, to fairly good standards compared with other Warsaw Pact copies.
The pistol is very well preserved, probably arsenal-refurbished and professionally refinished;
with a deep, even finish, clean edges, correct Romanian grips and a very elegant appearance for a TTC. The “1955” markings and the star on the grips are highly characteristic of early Romanian TTCs. The gun comes with its original holster, 2 eight-round magazines and a cleaning rod.
