WISCHO SUHL, Cal.12/70

The WISCHO brand (Wilhelm Schilling, Hannover) was one of the best-known German distributors and exporters of hunting guns in the post-war period. This WISCHO hunting gun, made in Suhl and fitted with barrels of the renowned Böhler steel, represents the tradition of German gunmakers in the second half of the 20th century. With its quality of workmanship, elegant engraving and mechanical robustness, this example illustrates the high standard of the hunting guns produced in the former DDR and retains to this day the prestige of German gunmaking in Suhl.

The gun presented here is in very good, lightly used condition: the Böhler steel barrels are clean (mirror-bright), the wood shows very slight signs of use, the mechanism works perfectly and lock-up is tight.
