Description
The pistol pictured is a Fort-12RM .45 Rubber, one of the most highly regarded Eastern European non-lethal weapons in the “heavy duty” class. The RM variant is the modernised evolution of the Fort-12R series and is built entirely of steel, with an emphasis on durability and power. The Fort-12 series was developed in Ukraine in the late 1990s by the state-owned company RPC Fort (Vinnytsia) to replace the Makarov pistol within the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI). The Fort-12RM became especially well known in Romania, Ukraine and Russia thanks to its reputation as a mechanical “tank”, with genuine recoil and high energy in .45 Rubber. The Fort .45 is considered one of the most powerful Eastern European less-lethal (“traumatic”) platforms.
Magazine capacity: 8+1 rounds, all-steel construction, SA/DA action, blowback operation, strong recoil, solid barrel, no signs of rust.
