Description
The FORT-17R in cal. 9mm P.A. is the non-lethal (“rubber”) version of the Ukrainian Fort-17 military pistol.
It was developed in Ukraine from 2004 onwards by the state-owned company RPC Fort as a modern evolution of the Fort-12. It was designed for the police and security forces, with a polymer frame and improved ergonomics. The FORT-17R version (“R” = Rubber) is intended for non-lethal rubber-ball ammunition and 9 mm P.A. cartridges, and has become popular in Eastern Europe. Operation: SA/DA action, polymer frame, manual safety, front accessory rail, 12–14-round magazine depending on the version.
Realistic estimate for the current market: 350 – 500 € for a standard example in good condition. On the Romanian market, Fort models are valued for their robustness and durability, and original Ukrainian versions tend to be worth more than similar Turkish replicas.
