Description
The ArmaLite M-15 Competition 11.5 is a modern carbine based on the AR-15 platform, produced by ArmaLite and aimed at dynamic shooting, tactical use and compact performance configurations. ArmaLite is the company that created the original AR-10 platform and later the AR-15, designed by Eugene Stoner in the 1950s. The AR-15 design was sold to Colt in 1959 and became the basis of the M16/M4 family later used worldwide.
Short 11.5″ barrel, calibre .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO, M-LOK free-float handguard, competition compensator/muzzle brake, modern AR-15 platform,
adjustable Magpul stock, Magpul flip-up sights, partly custom ambidextrous controls, “Raptor” charging handle, compact CQB / dynamic shooting configuration.
The 11.5″ length is highly valued for manoeuvrability, speed in close-range competitions, tactical use and reduced weight.
